…and just like that, we have a contract!

With just fewer than 300 members present at today’s Contract Ratification Meeting at MEMS, the vote to pass the new contract was almost unanimous.

THANK YOU to our Negotiations Team for their endless hours (and years) of work and their commitment to the MEEA.

The new contract and salary guide take effect immediately and will be reflected in the pay period that began on February 1st.

Thank you to all members, their family and friends, PTA members, support staff, administrators, and others who came out to the BOE meeting tonight to show support for the MEEA!  We hope to see you all at Main Street this Thursday!!

GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING AT WEMROCK BROOK AT 3:45pm THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10th!  ALL MEEA MEMBERS SHOULD PLAN ON ATTENDING FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Fact Finder’s Report Made Public

The following link is a copy of the Fact Finding Report involving the MEEA and the Manalapan-Englishtown Board of Education.  This report is now a public document.  After gathering data and working with both parties, the Fact-finder writes this report  to provide a compromise between the parties.  The final suggestions for compromise in this report are non-binding recommendations.   The parties must decide to accept or reject the report in full.  A party cannot decide to accept and reject segments of the report. The Manalapan-Englishtown Education Association has accepted this report.  The Manalapan-Englishtown Board of Education has rejected this report.
